Abraham Lincoln School had a special visit from the Bangor High School Football Team this week! The players joined our students for morning recess, bringing lots of energy, smiles, and fun to the playground. Our students loved having the chance to play alongside these “big kids.” We’re cheering them on and wishing them the best of luck this season!

A big shout out to Mrs. Morris for organizing this! Next home game is Friday, Oct. 10 vs. Windham at 7pm. GoRams!

Fall is in the air at the Abraham Lincoln School Garden!

As autumn settles in, our garden is a beautiful sight to behold! Chinese lantern flowers are brightening up the remnants of the pumpkin patch, adding a splash of color to the landscape. Our pumpkins are safely stored in the greenhouse, protected from curious critters, ensuring they’re ready for upcoming autumn classroom festivities! Meanwhile, the leaves on the oak tree out front are starting to change colors, creating a stunning backdrop for our garden adventures.

And let’s not forget about our busy bees, who continue to buzz around, enjoying the last blooms of the season.

Instagram’s Map Can Put Your Child at Risk

Instagram just launched a new Map feature that lets teens share their real-time location with friends and followers. While it’s off by default, a few taps can reveal sensitive places like their school or home. Learn how this feature works, why it matters for your child’s privacy, and what steps parents can take to keep teens safe online.
