April 5, 2019
Dear Abraham Lincoln Families,
*A special thank you to the Abraham Lincoln School PTO for purchasing a book for every child in the school!!
As the chill of winter exits and the spring weather quickly approaches, we would like to take a moment to share with you how proud we are of the excellent work, effort, and compassion your children have demonstrated throughout the first three quarters of the 2018-2019 school year. Your children have continually given their best effort each and every day and their work is paying off with great academic gains! Your children have done a tremendous job creating a thriving and active learning environment at the Abraham Lincoln School. Students are eager to learn and continue to “show us what they know”. The students continue to build strong friendships and are growing in every way.

In order to raise awareness and promote post-secondary education, the Bangor School Department will be encouraging students and staff to wear apparel from a college or university on Friday, April 12. Hats, T-shirts, sweatshirts or any other creative gear is encouraged. If you do not have any college gear, do not worry. Abraham Lincoln students and staff can wear the color red or Abraham Lincoln School apparel as another way to participate in this special day! We will also be having a presentation of Mad Science during the school day. We would like to thank the PTO for their work regarding this event.
Thank you again for all that you have done to make this a special place for students, staff, parents, and community alike! As always, please do not hesitate to call with questions.
